We had our first breakfast here last week and it was fantastic!
Staff was very friendly, offered to bring my son's fruit ahead of the meal (he was getting upset waiting for food).
The wait was long, but we were there at a very busy time just after they reopened so it was expected.
The food was worth the wait 100%!! -

Tried the NewJR's for breakfast and was disappointed with the long wait and food was not the best we'd had before. The wait staff was not happy either because a new cook was very slow and didn't know the menu. Our waitress called the owner to come in to help the cook (goof for her). Had to wait 40 minutes. My sister's pancakes were cold, eggs Benedict terrible, no sausage in my omelette, biscuits were adequate, and the option of fruit as a side was a bowl of canned fruit cocktail.
I saw people standing outside waiting for a table and suggested they go elsewhere, as did another customer. -

Food was decent, portions were acceptable. Food taste overall was bland. Toast was stale could taste it. Eggs were not very fresh.

Very cute old fashion place!
I had the patty melt and it was delicious, while my husband had the burger and it was good. If you love sweet tea definitely order it, you will not be disappointed! -

Myself, parents and son sat at the "only 5 table". We only sat there because my father is disabled, blind in one eye and he can't talk. It was easy access to the bathroom for him. With there being 4 of us the waitress was so rude about us sitting there. I was trying to explain to her why we sat there and she kept raising her voice and walked away.
At this point I no longer wanted to eat there so on the way out I went to go speak with the manager and the waitress kept coming and interrupting the conversation that we were having. It was to the point where my mother got involved to where her and the waitress had exchanged some words.
I understand that they are a busy restaurant and I get that there were only 4 of us. But it wasn't that big of a deal for the waitress to be so disrespectful to us over it.
I have been there a time or 2 before and never experienced service like this.
